DECANTER: "Fully expressive on the nose, burnt lemon, candied peel and dried fruits - apricots, oranges and spices - lots going on. Lovely combination here of bright, quite acidic lemony freshness with this honey, caramel buttery softness and also so many notes of dried fruit, raisins, apricots, pineapple and also pot pourri. Great potential here, lots of complexity and I really love the interplay between bright lemon acid and sweet toffee richness. Confident and showy in the best way. Drinking Window 2026 - 2045"

WEINWISSER: "Leuchtendes Goldgelb. Unerwartet (zu) verschlossenes Bouquet mit Anklängen an Quitten, Tahiti-Vanille und zarter Rauchnote von dem Barriqueausbau. Am öligen Gaumen mit stützender Rasse, dadurch elegant und geradlinig, molliger Körper. Im gebündelten Finale englische Frühstücksmarmelade und Safranfäden. Wirkt auf den ersten Blick unscheinbar, entwickelt sich mit Luft aber immer besser, kann noch zulegen! Info: 125 g/l Restzucker."

FALSTAFF: "Mittleres Grüngelb, Silberreflexe. Zart kräuterwürzig unterlegte gelbe Steinobstnuancen, ein Hauch von Botrytiswürze, frische Ananas, zart nach Grapefruitzesten. Saftig, gelbe Tropenfrucht, eingebundene Süße, angenehmer Säurebogen, zitroniger Touch, elegant, gutes Reifepotenzial."

WINE SPECTATOR: "Distinctive, with the forward apricot, peach and quince profile of the vintage but with extra acacia, honeysuckle and heather notes, which add lift and length through the nicely defined finish. Although unctuous, this has some drive to carry it along nicely. Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Best from 2023 through 2035. 3,750 cases made."
