  "A fabulous GPL. Perhaps better than the legendary 1982? It shows laser-guide precision on the palate with aromas of currants, cedar, mint, flowers and chocolate. Full-bodied and extremely finely textured on the palate, lasting for minutes. A joy to drink now. Get some."

  "Dunkles Granat, lila Reflexe. Intensives, warmes Bouquet, getrocknete Zwetschgen, Heidelbeeren, ein erfrischender Hauch Zitronat, pfeffrig, Trüffelspuren. Fleischiger Gaumen, viel Saft, perfekt integrierte Säure und schön gereifte Tannine zeigend, aromatisches Finale mit viel blaubeerigen Cabernet-Spuren und einem röstigen Marronitouch, zugleich druckvoll. Einer der ganz grossen GPL-Jahrgänge, kann vielleicht in fünf Jahren zur Wertung des phänomenalen 2000ers aufschliessen."
