JEB DUNNUCK: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve To Kalon has lots of classic Cabernet green and herbal notes as well as tobacco leaf, cedar, and assorted dark fruits. Nicely balanced, full-bodied, and elegant, it’s another 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that has a classic, Old World, Bordeaux-like style. It’s drink nicely now but has another 10-15 years of prime drinking."

JANCIS ROBINSON: "Floral, herbal, and fresh with mixed fresh fruits. Cocoa-powder tannins and abundant acidity carry into a long finish. Taut and reticent currently but seems to have everything to open and become a nicely balanced wine and evolve further."

DECANTER: "Ground coffee, ripe dark fruit and a touch of almond. Medium-bodied for napa, with a silky texture and an appealing lightness of touch and freshness from a mint note. Structured and elegant."
