James Suckling: "A juicy and expressive red with plum and berry character as well as hints of crushed stones and grilled citrus. Medium- to full-bodied, it has juicy fruit and a flavorful finish. 65% merlot and 35% cabernet franc. 10% whole-bunch fermentation. Very attractive now but even better in two or three years."

James Suckling: "A crisp, crunchy white with guava, grapefruit, lemongrass and spice on the nose. Salty elements follow on a medium-bodied, textured palate that builds in flavor. Long, vibrant and wonderfully concentrated. Sauvignon and semillon. Drink or hold."

James Suckling: "This offers a rich nose of dark berries, walnuts, ground spices and a mushroom nuance. Firm and lightly chewy, it has medium body with compact tannins and tangy acidity. From organically grown grapes. Drink from 2027."

Jane Anson: "Gunsmoke reduction on opening, clears quickly and this a good quality balanced Haut-Médoc with plenty of charm and personality, a little tight in its tannic hold, black chocolate, cocoa bean, espresso. Run by generations of women since 1850, this is one to watch. Located in Cissac, lovely waves of rosebuds and iris. Tasted twice, great value option."

Jane Anson: "Concentrated with a ton of spice, bright and powerful dark cassis and bilberry fruit, and a saline kick on the finish. One of the real value wines of the vintage, has a huge sense of character, great architecture, and silky tannins."

Falstaff: "Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Zart nach reifen Pflaumen, ein Hauch von Orangenzesten, schwarze Kirschen, einladendes Bukett. James Suckling: "Fine aromas of herbs and currant leaves lend freshness to this wine from a hot, sunny vintage. Surprisingly scented and complex on the nose, showing spiced cherries, plums and a touch of cedar. Firm and juicy on the palate, with a medium to full body and a very long, tight-grained finish without chewiness. Nicely fluid in the middle, but refined. Drink from 2027."

James Suckling: "This wine is impressive and vertically structured, with quality tannins in very good quantities. Pencil shavings, graphite, minerals, cassis, paprika and fresh blackberries. Compact, dusty and full-bodied, with a tight and lengthy finish. This shows excellent potential for aging. For Haut-Medoc, this is often a smart buy. 63% merlot, 35% cabernet sauvignon and 2% cabernet franc. Drink from 2028 and in the next 15 years, if not longer."

Jeb Dunnuck: "Awesome levels of blackcurrants, darker cherries, roasted herbs, chocolate, and scorched earth all emerge from the 2022 Château Malartic-Lagravière, an incredibly concentrated, rich, layered beauty that has velvety tannins, a deep, layered mid-palate, and a blockbuster finish. It's easily the finest I've tasted from this château and is a riveting 2022 that deserves 4-6 years in the cellar and will keep for two decades or more. The 2022 is based on 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, with the élevage spanning 20 months in 60% new French oak. There are a little over 8,000 cases of this brilliant wine."

Jane Anson: "Great depth, well judged and balanced, plenty of character, crisp mint leaf, cassis, blueberry, cocoa bean, espresso, this is seriously enjoyable, clear tannic frame and great ageing potential, ripe but measured, it's one to look out for and very easy to recommend. A classic 94 point Buy signal. 35% new French oak barrels, great stuff from Edouard Miailhe and winemaker Marjolaine Defrance. The label for 2022 is a tribute to Queen Elizabeth, for any royal fans out there…"

James Suckling: "Dark color with aromas of orange peel, blackberries, blackcurrants and flowers. Medium-bodied with refined tannins and a silky and pretty finish. Reserved and balanced. Typical Pomerol, as always. 98% merlot and 2% cabernet franc. Drink after 2028."

Jeb Dunnuck: "A smoking Margaux with tons of character, the 2022 Château Marojallia showed beautifully. Ripe cherries, blueberries, spring flowers, and tobacco all make an appearance in the bouquet, and it hits the palate with a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, structured style that has everything in the right place. I don't see it being for the instant gratification crowd, but if you're able to hide these in the cellar for 4-6 years or so, you'll be a happy camper. I wouldn't be surprised to see this rival the 2009 when all is said and done."

James Suckling: "A subtle graphite character makes this a very attractive and typical Bordeaux red. Aromas of dark plums with a touch of iron, as well as forest-floor, mineral and white-pepper notes. Medium to full body with fine, chiseled tannins and a perfumed finish. Tensioned and long. Quite transparent on the palate. Merlot from deep, thick clay. 80% in foudre. From organically grown grapes."

James Suckling: "A very good year for Tour Saint Christophe, showing great depth and flavor despite high alcohol. Abundant dark minerals, fresh blackberries, black olives and a hint of cocoa powder. Pretty full-bodied and firm with crunchy, reactive tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Lots of density here. Drink from 2027."

James Suckling: "Lots of blackberries, lead pencil, dark earth and blackcurrants. Bright and clear. Full-bodied with lots of fruit yet framed and structured with a deep and intense finish. It goes on for a long time. Greatest Tronquoy ever. A blend of 59% cabernet sauvignon, 35% merlot and 6% petit verdot. Needs five to six years to open."

James Suckling: "Dark currants with blackberries and a touch of pencil shavings. Good perception of freshness despite the ripe black fruit. Tight, full-bodied and fine-grained on the palate. Long, structured and juicy. 64% cabernet sauvignon, 31% merlot and 5% cabernet franc. Give it two or three more years."

James Suckling: "Aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, pencil shavings and tobacco. Medium- to full-bodied, this is creamy and crunchy with open, velvety tannins and a juicy finish. 71% merlot, 23% cabernet sauvignon, 5% petit verdot and 1% cabernet franc."
