WEINWISSER: "Dunkles, sattes Purpur. Gewaltige, reife Beeren, vielschichtig, sehr dicht, Dörrfrüchte, betörende Süsse, Mahagonitouch. Stoffig, enorm dicht, rot- und blaubeeriges Fruchtspiel, gaumenumfassende Adstringenz, völlig sauber, perfekt vinifiziert, eine Tanninbombe. Ein weiterer, grosser Poujeaux."

JANCIS ROBINSON: "Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Merlot 40%, Cabernet Franc 5%, Petit Verdot 5%. Very dark crimson. Pretty rich and gamey on the nose. Excellent alluring fragrance. Good, lively stuff. Slightly dry on the finish, but pretty succulent fruit on the mid palate – racy and very well balanced. Bought at the Christie's auction of 2000s recently."

THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Nice, inexpensive charmer, mature and ready to go, with its sweet, cherry, black raspberry, tobacco and earthy personality. Freshness and round tannins, with ample cherry in the finish. This is not a wine I'd hold for further evolution."
