JAMES SUCKLING: "This is very structured, with superbly polished tannins that are fine but just slightly austere in the very best way. Blackberry, blueberry, violet and oyster shell aromas. Medium- to full-bodied, solid and driving in the finish, with forest flower, oyster shell and tapenade undertones. Needs three or four years to come together. Best after 2027."
